Binky's Broken Leg Surgery
Binky is a super happy energetic young puppy. She was rescued from euthanasia at the dog pound and is in foster care being cared for by rescuers while she waits to go to her forever home.
One day Binky jumped and caught her leg in the fence on the way down, resulting in a multiple compound fracture.
The break is bad. Veterinarians say that the bone that supports her weight is not properly aligned. Binky was cared for at Shores Animal Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
Because of what we say on the x-rays, I brought Binky to University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine. Doctors there say she needs an operation with a plate and pins to set the break so it can heal properly. They say the operation costs $3,000.
My house recently burned down and I've already paid over $1,000 on her care so far. Binky and I need your help!
